Mike Surprenant, SE: Principal
|
Mike Surprenant is a Licensed Structural and Civil Engineer in California. A native of San Diego, Mike has dedicated his entire career to the building industry. He began his journey early, working as a carpenter for various rough-framing and concrete contractors. This hands-on experience provided Mike with a deep understanding of wood-frame construction and familiarized him with the "common practices" of multiple construction trades. This knowledge now enables him to deliver sensible, cost-efficient structural designs and practical solutions to on-site challenges during construction.
Mike graduated from San Diego State University in 1990 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. After graduation, he joined a firm specializing in the design of building structures. In 1996, Mike established his own structural consulting firm, now known as Mike Surprenant & Associates. |
